Rules and Guides

These rules are made and administered by Arbitration Forums, Inc. (AF) under the authority of Article Fifth (a) of the various Arbitration Agreements.

This guide provides definitions and explanations of AF's rules.

These industry-recommended guidelines should be adhered to when issuing and receiving E-Subro Hub demands.

Following the E-Subro Hub Best Practices promotes the expeditious settlement of subrogation claims. 

The Procedures were established by Arbitration Forums, Inc. (the administrator designated by the Superintendent of Financial Services) and approved by the Superintendent that apply to mandatory intercompany arbitrations pursuant to Section 65-4.11(d) of the New York State Insurance Department Regulation No. 68. 

It is in the best interest of arbitrators, AF employees, and the representatives that make personal appearances on behalf of an involved company to set forth generally accepted standards of ethical conduct.
